WDLS Web Services

The 3rd party logistics provider today must function as an integral part of the supply chain. To accomplish this they must supply not only logistics services, but also information. The WDLS web services allow you to leverage all the information accumulated during daily processing and deliver it via on-line forms, e-mail, and published reports.

The WDLS application has numerous e-mail exit points that allow you to configure an account to be notified by e-mail when certain processing events occur.  Typical uses include confirmation of shipment arrival, notification of an over/short/damage condition found during product receipt, or notification that stock has reached a low stock point. The e-mails can be directed to one or more individuals for each type of system event.

Clients have access to their account status information via the web. Secure access is provided through setup of user profiles for each client. A tailorable menu allows you to tune the options available to each client. Standard scripts exist for checking on order status, receipt status, inventory balances, and transaction histories. Graphs are incorporated to make it easy to spot balance trends. Additional scripts are easily incorporated into the client menus.

Your company brand can be infused into the standard scripts without programming. Color schemes and graphics are set using cascading style sheets, which are tailored during initial implementation with each WDLS site. User profiles can also be associated with a graphic image to personalize the portal or display their coporate logo. Links can be easily added to other Internet pages allowing you to create a seamless interface to all the information needed by your client.

Publishing tools that enable you to convert WDLS reports into TEXT files and HTML documents. Additional utilities can be used to convert data stored in the WDLS database to CSV files for emailing to your customers. These tools allow you to easily incorporate any WDLS report into your e-mail or publish them to your website for clients to access.
